The 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher course is required by the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) under Local Law 52 of 2005 for any worker who will use or perform tasks on a supported scaffold at heights of 10 feet or more. This course is also required every four years to renew your scaffold user certificate.
The training covers essential scaffold safety practices, fall protection methods, hazard recognition, and site responsibilities to reduce the risk of injury or violation on NYC job sites.
