The 16-Hour Suspended Scaffold User course is a mandatory NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) requirement for workers who use or operate suspended scaffolds on construction sites. This in-depth, instructor-led course fulfills Local Law 52 regulations and equips workers with the knowledge and skills to safely perform suspended scaffold operations at height.
Taught over two days, the course combines classroom instruction with practical demonstrations, ensuring participants understand the systems, safety measures, and operational procedures required to minimize risk while working on suspended scaffolds.
